Hon Agho Oliver hands over gifts


The Member of Parliament of Bafut-Tubah constituency, Honourable Agho Oliver has donated Aluminum roofing sheets to more than 22 families in Bambui who lost their houses to the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West Regions

The roofing sheets were handed to the victims in a ceremony on Thursday April 23 by the Divisional officer of Tubah, Alim Garga in Bambui


The DO told the affected people of Bambui to put the roofing sheets into use so as to regain their homes in the nearest future

"This gesture will go a long way to instill confidence in the population" he remarked


Honourable Agho Oliver elected as Member of Parliament for the Bafut-Tubah constituency on March 22nd, told the beneficiaries that time to talk was over

"During the campaigns, I promised you that if you vote for me, I will roof all the houses burnt in Bambui. I am here to fulfill that promise"

Each household benefitted the sum of 50,000 Frs to purchase nails and sticks

The 2000 aluminum roofing sheets will distributed systematically according to the needs of the people. A working group had been created to ascertain who needs what

Pa Forbah Joseph who lost his house during this crisis, saluted the magnanimity of MP

"We are very glad with this gesture. We were not expecting. This is the marvelous work of God" he remarked. Meanwhile Manjo Richard was relieved that he can regain his home soon

"After the arson attack on my residence, I never knew where to go. Thank you Mr MP for giving back our homes"

Hon. Agho Oliver has promised to continue this gesture to the other three villages(Bambili, Kedjom Ketinguh and Kedjom Keku) in the weeks ahead
