The Cameroon National Assembly Speaker, Théodore Datouo, has appointed KOUOGAN KOUYEP Guy as Head of the Speaker's Private Secretariat, effective June 8, 2026. Guy replaces DJIBRILA and brings experience as a Senior Guidance Counsellor in Schools, University, and Vocational Education.

This appointment follows Théodore Datouo's election as Speaker in March 2026, succeeding Cavaye Yéguié Djibril, who led the National Assembly for 34 years.
