In a move that further consolidates its leadership in Cameroon’s telecommunications industry, MTN Cameroon has been named Top Employer 2026 by the Top Employers Institute. This recognition not only celebrates HR excellence but also underscores the company’s strategic focus on human capital development as a driver of business growth.
The evaluation process included audits of MTN Cameroon’s HR systems, policies, and processes, culminating in a certification that places the company among Africa’s best employers.
The award was officially presented on 19 February 2026 during the Africa Awards & Gala Evening in Johannesburg, where MTN Cameroon was represented by Rams Ramashia, Chairman of the MTN Cameroon REMCO Board; Bess Kankolongo, General Manager Regional Talent Leader WECA; and Evangeline Biboum, General Manager Human resources
MTN Cameroon attributes this achievement to its robust HR frameworks, which foster talent development, promote innovation, and encourage high performance culture.
“This certification is the result of our commitment to building strong, empowered teams capable of navigating the challenges of a fast evolving digital landscape,” the company stated.
