The CPDM Section President for the Mezam IC, Che Ndaka Nicolas has said the total victory for his party's presidential candidate is non-negotiable.
He was speaking at the Nkwen Fon's palace Sunday 28th September 2025 where he officially launched campaigns in the subdivision.
"We must win these elections in Bamenda III. We have put concrete strategies in place to ensure that we give our champion the most deserved victory. I call on you all to be steadfast like never before. To stand like one man and defend the ideals of our party by voting massively for candidate Paul Biya." Che Ndaka said.
He went further to enumerate projects that have been released in the subdivision over the last few years. The Mile 4 bridge which was recently inaugurated is a glaring example. Coupled with other projects like the PIB roads tarred within Nkwen as well as the Mile 4 market currently under construction. Upon completion, the modern market will cost a little over one billion Francs CFA.
Che Ndaka Nicolas also explained projects executed under the peace and development initiative of the North West Regional Assembly. To Ndaka, the resolve of the CPDM government to bring lasting peace, empower the youth as well as the women is worth commending. He also used the opportunity of the campaign launch to announce that the construction of the Bamenda Referral which has been halted for some time now will recommence.
The Section President encouraged the youths to use this opportunity and vote wisely so that Nkwen can re-emerge on the lamplight.
A message re-echoed by the Fon of Nkwen, His Majesty Fon Azehfor III. The Fon said that if children of Nkwen must be positioned in places of responsibility, they must align with the ideals of the New Deal and with President Paul Biya.
"We must be logical in the way we do things. If we must project this village, this subdivision and if we must project the sons and daughters of Nkwen to hold higher positions of responsibility, we have to vote massively for the party in power, the CPDM." The Fon remarked.
The party officials adopted the mouth to ear strategy as a campaign method and also distributed campaign materials.
The launch of the CPDM campaign in Nkwen and Ndzah was marked by traditional dances.
