In a calm and strongly worded statement, the CPDM campaign team leader for the North West, Philemon Yang has told the party following that only Paul Biya can lead Cameroon into the future.
Speaking as he officially launched the CPDM campaigns in the North West Region, the Prime Minister emeritus was emphatic, open, clear and concise. He started by calling on the opposition to who constantly criticize the Head of State that "it is not selling any project." Yang went further to debunk issues related to age and he was clear that the CPDM talks about policy and not age.
To those who are contesting with the CPDM candidate, Phile Yang said they needed experience. "You cannot want to run a country when you have never run a village." He said.
On the project and achievements of President Paul Biya, Philemon Yang said he has the experience and wisdom and he has led Cameroon as a statesman and not as a politician. He went forward to say that President Biya is a visionary. He thinks about the future with intuition and he is a man of dialogue and peace.
The CPDM North West campaign team leader said President Paul Biya is man of National unity who has forged a one, indivisible and unique Cameroon with fundamental freedoms especially with the press. He was clear that women and youth led initiatives have been promoted under President Paul Biya.
With Paul Biya, Yang said the country has grown in infrastructure and will continue to grow in leaps and bounds, citing the various dams that are being commissioned, the road networks and the several mining projects that are ongoing. He said this will greatly contribute to the Gross Domestic Product of Cameroon and increase the purchasing power of the citizens in the nearest future.
To the youths, he assured them that their future is secured with President Biya who is determined to guide them and shape their future.
With the development of road infrastructure across the North West Region, Yang said Bamenda will grow to all the seven subdivisions that make up Mezam, into a metropolis and a centre hub for doing business in Africa. This he says the Paul Biya is committed to, and Bamenda is the link between West and Central Africa.
To achieve the goals of the CPDM candidate, to lead Cameroon into the future, Yang outlined four characteristics that supporters of President Paul Biya must have.
