Suspected activist flees as government crackdown on perpetrators of arson attacks in Mamfe.

Security forces in Mamfe, Manyu division of the restive South west region, The Horizon has learnt from reliably sources have reportedly intensify search for a young man acused of collaborating with separatist fighters which led to the burning of the queen of rosary college Okoyoung Mamfe central sub division. 

The young university student, whose name we got as Ekom Kenoly Agiah is believed to have fled the country in February 14th, 2022 after suffering some barbaric tortures and inhumane treatment from security  forces deployed to the area. On the other hand Ekom remains a target for separatist fighters. Meanwhile 

It should be noted that activities of separatist fighters remain banned in Cameroon and its followers if cought are tried under the dreaded anti-terrorism law.

Ekom, a young man who said to have fled Buea in 2020 alongside  when the military continues the clashes with separatist to his village Okoyoung 

 and because he was victim of torture during one of such raids in Buea and was released thanks to intervention from human rights lawyer Barister Ewule Mwambo and he thought he will find solace in the land of his birth but things when saor when he was acuse of being part of the arson attack on the catholic mission school Queen of Rosary college Okoyoung Mamfe. 

In the same way, the military accused him of collaborating with separatist fighters after a military man was allegedly shot in their quarter in Okoyoung during one of such Raids.

Meanwhile Ekom Kenoly Agiah was doing petit trading in Buea while waiting for graduation before his  home was set ablaze by men in Military attire belive to be security forces for allegedly leaking information to the belligerent the arm separatist group loyal to the secessionist movement. 

His parents, and other siblings are also atlarge as a result of the socio-political crisis rocking the two English speaking regions thanks to help he receive from family friends and some individuals in Mamfe who Orchestra his escape to Ouesso on the borders between Cameroon and Congo and later abroad seeking refuge. 

It should be noted that nearly a hundred Anglophones were also arrested in the wake of the crisis that began in December 2016.

It followers say the body is a non-violent organization with the motto "The force of argument, not the argument of force."
