Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf NdongnyamNtum-Kwifon Che Linidolf Ndongnyam, CEO of Merdolf Group and CPDM Resource Person for Mezam II, Santa, has hailed President Paul Biya's 44 years in power, highlighting education, national inclusion, diplomacy and dialogue as important aspects of his leadership.
In a goodwill message marking the anniversary of Biya's accession to the Supreme Magistracy on November 6, 1982, Che Linidolf extends his congratulations to the Head of State, while reflecting on policies and decisions that have shaped the country's development.
He singled out education as one area where he has personally benefited from government policies, recounting his academic journey from Presbyterian Secondary School Batibo to Government Secondary School Santa.
After obtaining his GCE Ordinary Level in 1992, he continued his studies at Government Secondary School Santa, which was elevated to high school status that year.
"For me, this is more than an educational milestone; it is a personal testament to the importance of bringing schools closer to communities and making education accessible to ordinary families at affordable cost," he stated.
He also recalled the appointment of the late Pa Simon Achidi Achu, a son of Santa, as Prime Minister, describing it as a defining moment in his understanding of national inclusion.
"It reinforced my belief that Cameroon belongs to all its citizens and that, regardless of one's geographical or social background, there is room to aspire, serve and contribute at the highest levels of our national life," he said.
On the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West Regions, Che Linidolf commended the importance of dialogue and peaceful solutions, welcoming renewed efforts towards community engagement.
He said he was actively participating in the initiative alongside political and community leaders, traditional authorities, women and young people to encourage engagement, rebuild trust and contribute to lasting peace.
"Your fatherly demeanour and measured approach to national challenges are qualities I consider important for preserving the possibility of dialogue," he noted.
On the international front, he praised Cameroon's diplomatic engagement and regional responsibilities, citing the election of former Prime Minister Philemon Yang as President of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2024 as a significant moment for the country.
He also highlighted Cameroon's contribution to regional security cooperation, particularly in the fight against Boko Haram and its support for refugees fleeing instability in neighbouring countries.
Turning to Santa, his place of origin, Che Linidolf pledged to work with fellow CPDM militants, political leaders and other stakeholders to promote peace, development and national cohesion.
He further expressed his determination to mobilise the population towards a strong CPDM victory in the forthcoming legislative and municipal elections.
"As you mark 44 years of service to our nation, I wish you continued wisdom, clairvoyance, sound judgement and good health," he wrote, expressing hope that the President would continue guiding Cameroon towards greater peace, unity, stability and prosperity.
