Ramadan: Mbayu Felix Provides for Muslim Community at Old Town

The Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of the Commonwealth, Mbayu Felix, has handed over 50 cartons of sugar and 40 cartons of date sweet

The donation at the Muslim community Hall old town comes 22 days into the Ramadan, the month long fast of Muslims

While handing over the gifts, the representative of the Minister, Ndimbu Polycap said the Minister's gift is to express his love, friendship and loyalty to people of old town Bamenda

On behalf of the Muslim Elite, Alhadji Baba Tanko saluted the gesture that adds to many others carried out by the Member of Government. The community Hall project and the construction of mosques, didactic materials for school going children, food stuffs to women are amongst other gestures cited by the elite

Sarki Hamza Usman, traditional leader of old town was very pleased with the gesture as it comes when Muslims intensify prayers during these last 10 days of Ramadan

The Minister has provided 45 more cartons of sugar to the Bamenda II Council for unward  distribution in the days ahead

Minister Mbayu Felix, a son of the soil has been on the forefront of empowerment in his old town community
