Authorities of the Economic community of
Central African States, ECCAS, have undertaken a mission to sensitize and
advocate operationalization of the Central Africa Regional Free Trade Area.
The Deputy Secretary General of ECCAS, Cameroonian born Therese
Chantal Mfoula was received with her delegation by the Prime Minister Philemon
Yang.
During discussions with the Head of Government Therese Chantal
Mfoula expressed the wish to see the Central African Regional Free Trade Zone
go operational by January 2017.
Prime Minister Philemon Yang assured his quest that Cameroon will
integrate into its local laws, provisions of the free trade area, that will
enable it operate early next year.
