The General Manager of Ntarinkon Cooperative Credit Union Limited (NtaCCUL), Ade Divine Muma, has been honoured with the CEMAC Microfinance Best General Manager Award at the 2026 CENPA Awards.
The recognition, presented by the Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association (CENPA), acknowledges Ade Muma’s leadership in the microfinance sector and his role in the growth and transformation of NtaCCUL.
According to the award presented to him, Ade Muma was recognised as “CEMAC Microfinance Best General Manager.” The honour adds to a growing list of recognitions associated with his leadership of NtaCCUL.
Ade Muma has served as General Manager of NtaCCUL since 2013. The credit union says his tenure has been marked by expansion in membership, savings and lending, geographical reach and digital financial services.
Under his leadership, NtaCCUL reported more than 117,000 members and savings of approximately FCFA 66.8 billion for the 2025 financial year. The institution has also expanded its mobile and USSD banking services and introduced GIMAC card services.
The recognition comes at a time when NtaCCUL is receiving increased attention within Cameroon’s cooperative finance sector. In March 2026, the institution reported continued growth in membership and savings while maintaining a 6 percent interest rate on savings.
Ade Muma’s professional background includes banking, finance and credit management. Before taking over as General Manager, he worked as a credit analyst with the Cameroon Cooperative Credit Union League. He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea, a Higher Diploma in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance.
The CENPA recognition therefore places a spotlight on both Ade Muma and NtaCCUL's growing profile in the regional microfinance landscape.
