Supporters of the Cameron Peoples Democratic Movement in Ndu have pledged to give their candidate a resounding victory at the October 12 Presidential Elections.
Speaking as they officially launched their campaigns, the Mayor of Ndu, Abdou Kanfon Borno, Vice President of the Communal campaign team called on the population of Ndu to turn out massively on elections Day and give President Paul Biya a landslide victory.
Infrastructural projects ranging from the ongoing construction of the ring road from Kumbo through Ndu to Misaje, coupled with several other projects like farm to market roads, construction of bridges and ensuring that Ndu remains one of the cleanest towns in Cameroon were mentioned.
The population went into ecstasy when the name of Judith Yah Sunday Epouse Achidi was mentioned. The General Manager of CAMTEL and CPDM Central Committee member has undertaken a lot of humanitarian actions in Ndu.
Few weeks ago, she carried out a free health campaign where patients were consulted, drugs and minor surgeries handed to the population at zero cost. The outreach came after the training and award of Category A driver's licenses to bike riders. Several students are in school in the subdivision because of a scholarship scheme undertaken by the CPDM bigwig.
The party officials and the population agreed that with the achievements of the Mayor and the CPDM run council, the brilliant activities of their daughter and Elite, Judith Yah Sunday, it was time to give President Paul Biya a resounding victory.
Practical steps on how to vote on October 12 and the distribution of campaign materials were the high points of the event.
