Radio Hot Cocoa FM 94.0 Bamenda received an Award of Excellence for their outstanding community service. The award was presented to Station Manager Muma Jude Awa by Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, who also serves as interim Minister of Employment and Vocational Training.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the North West media family, Awa acknowledged that this recognition marks a milestone, as the media has never been honored in such a way before. He dedicated the award to CEO Che Bangang Ade, the dedicated staff, and loyal listeners who have contributed to the radio's success.

The award was presented on August 26th, 2025, during the minister's one day visit to the North West Region, in the presence of regional authorities.
