Nkumu Fed Fed Elects New President General at 29th Annual General Meeting in Limbe

Newly Elected General President Nkumu Fed Fed

Nkumu Fed Fed, the internationally recognized women-led, gender-focused non-profit, has ushered in a new chapter of leadership. During its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held from April 24–27, 2025, in Limbe, members elected Na Beryl Fofung as the new President General, succeeding Eunice Tita, who served the organization with dedication for the past six years.

In her acceptance remarks, Na Beryl expressed deep gratitude and a clear vision for the future.
“I believe those who voted for me recognize and trust my leadership style, which is rooted in teamwork,” she said. “I am naturally strict because I believe in doing things the right way, though I acknowledge that we all have our human limitations.”

Looking ahead, she pledged to work closely with program area chairladies to expand fundraising efforts and maintain the group’s strong community outreach.
“While U.S. support has decreased, we now have an opportunity to build new partnerships within the European Union and, more importantly, across Cameroon and Africa,” she added.

Held under the theme “Investing in the Future: Education for a Healthy and Sustainable Livelihood,” this year’s AGM was hosted by the Fed Fed Oklahoma branch and drew over 300 women from all 15 branches of the organization for four days of reflection, renewal, and celebration.

Incoming President And Our Going President

Outgoing President General Eunice Tita used her farewell speech to reflect on her term, marked by both challenges and accomplishments.
“Leading this organization has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs,” she said. “But we embraced every moment.”
She also pledged continued support to the new leadership, announcing her role as Technical Adviser No. 1 to the incoming president.

The event wasn’t all business. Members participated in a vibrant program of activities including a sports day, a cultural night featuring Bali Nyonga traditions, and a gala evening that celebrated the organization's humanitarian achievements. The gathering concluded on a high note with the official announcement that Kumba will host the 30th AGM in 2026.

With new leadership at the helm and a renewed commitment to their mission, Nkumu Fed Fed looks poised to continue driving impact across communities, both at home and abroad.
