FECAFOOT NW President Donates to PWD Bamenda

The President of FECAFOOT NW, Mbigha Felix has donated 10 balls to PWD of Bamenda after the team lost majority of its equipment in a fire incident that consume their bus, 48 hours ago

While handing the balls to the team President, Abunde Pascal and first Vice President, Maitre Njoya in the presence of Bamenda City Mayor, Paul Achobong, discussed at length on the eminent rehabilitation of the Bamenda municipal stadium

Pascal Abunde noted that the gate takings of the team will greatly increase should PWD return 'home'. A message the city Mayor says will receive a positive response soon


On the lost of team gadgets, Mbigha Felix encouraged the team not to lose focus on their plans for the season. He told the Presidents that much work is being done to provide the team with a new bus very soon

In response, PWD President saluted the gesture and reminded the president that the team has its objectives of the season that must be accomplished

It should be noted that good will supporters have been contributing towards replacing the bus and other belongings of the team


This is an initiative of Minister Felix Mbayu of Commonwealth and has seen some 42 million raised in less than 48 hours. Amongst the donors is FECAFOOT NW President who contributed 500,000 Francs

PWD of Bamenda was initially scheduled to play against Dragon in Yaounde for a Day 3 encounter. 

The match was rescheduled because of the fire incident
