COVID-19: CCMN Takes Measures to Limit it's Spread



The Cameroon Community Media Network, CCMN, has outlined some four key measures to be taken by its members (media organs) to limit or stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in their communities.

The measures are contained in a Press Release signed by the National Coordinator of the Network, Rosaline Obah Akah.

Due to the prevalence of the Covid-19 pandemic,  Cameroon Community Media Network will in the days ahead embark on a campaign to raise awareness on the preventive measures issued by national and international bodies.

The measures to be taken by its members and partner media organs include;

- Produce and broadcast radio and TV spots on the pandemic to raise awareness on the different preventive measures.
- Carry out social media campaigns on the different preventive measures and raise discussions of peace and hope to change the narratives.
- Counter myths, fake news, disinformation, etc, surrounding the covid-19 pandemic.
- Produce short films and contents that can further educate and sensitise the community on the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Cameroon Community Media Network, CCMN, has as objectives; that of building a peaceful society through community actions.
