One person has been killed and two others severely injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire at a drinking spot near Ntafoang Square in Bali Nyonga on the evening of Sunday, July 19, 2026, LT has gathered.
The victim, widely known as Lexus, died during the attack. One of the injured, identified as Kumalo, is receiving treatment at a health facility, while the identity of the second injured person has not been confirmed.
Videos circulating on social media also showed the roof of the Bali Grandstand engulfed in flames. The structure, located at Ntafoang Square and recently renovated, sustained significant damage in the fire.
The incident has heightened security concerns in Bali, Nyonga, which had experienced relative calm in recent months.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the circumstances.
Investigations are expected to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the fire.
