Nchofon Mingoh
Prominent humanitarian actor Nchofon Mingoh has been honored with the 2025 Cameroon Media Award of Excellence – Common Relief and Service to Humanity Award, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and community support in Cameroon’s North-West Region.
The award was presented by the Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) during its annual recognition ceremony celebrating individuals whose efforts have made a significant impact on society through service, leadership, and community development.
For years, Nchofon Mingoh has been actively engaged in humanitarian initiatives in Bamenda and surrounding communities, providing assistance to vulnerable populations affected by the ongoing Anglophone Crisis. His work has focused on supporting internally displaced persons, promoting community resilience, advocating for social welfare, and responding to the urgent needs of families facing hardship as a result of the conflict.
The award recognizes his dedication to humanitarian action and his consistent efforts to bring relief and hope to affected communities.
