Camtel rides with Bangangte at Cycling Tour

            The Blue wave in Bangangte

The caravan of the 22nd edition of the Cameroon Cycling Tour made its way today into Bangangte, West Region of Cameroon for the fifth lap.

The lap that took off from Bafia in the Centre Region was another opportunity for Camtel, Official Sponsor to get the population into the groove.

It was therefore Bangangte's turn to feel the blue wave of the Tour with Camtel. To make it special, the incumbent telecommunications  operator organised a special caravan which culminated into the distribution of prizes and other gadgets to the local population to the delight of Minister Celestine Ketcha Courtès, elite of the locality who came all the way from Yaounde to witness the event.

Back on the race course, Camtel once again demonstrated its commitment in supporting sports in general and Cycling in particular.

The traditional blue jersey for the best Cameroonian cyclist was once again on the rendezvous. Rodrigue Kuere Nounawe of the SNH Velo club conserved the blue jersey jealously as he went home with the sum of FCFA 100,000 and other valuable gadgets.

In all, it was a satisfactory day for the population of Bangangte and a great moment of communion with Camtel as they look forward to stay connected  than before.

Camtel now follows the caravane to Douala in the Littoral Region for the sixth lap of the Tour on Tuesday.
