The death has been announced of a teacher identified as Nji Ndoh Brech. He died after bumping on one of the prefabricated culvert under construction at SONAC Street.
The teacher of Government Technical High School Nkwen bumped into the deviation at about 7PM and as he tried to navigate the stretch, he bumped into the culvert that was under construction ,losing control and falling off his bike.
Before he could reach the hospital, Nji Ndoh Brech died.
In other to understand the circumstances under which the teacher died
The Observer visited the area and noticed that there are deviation signs perfectly placed at the area and the area is blocked with security bands and prefabricated structures to prevent penetration. Also, they're alternative roads that can be used as deviation towards other parts of the town when coming from city chemist .
The death of Nji Ndoh could be as result of the fact that he bridged the security protocol around this structure.

Amongst which is the regular communication on the evolution of the road works, the putting in place of road signs along the road indicating key construction activities, so that users will not bump into any prefabricated structures and also speed limit along the road under construction.

In and earlier publication on Observer237.com, taxi drivers decried the overspeeding by bike riders. One of such over speeding let to the unfortunate loss of the life of a bike rider at Metta Quarters two weeks ago.
Overspeeding especially at night should be discouraged.
