Fon Amidu Nji becomes the second President of the House of Chiefs and Vice President of the Regional Executive Council and takes over from Fon Yakum Kevin Teuvih of Bambalang who served as the pioneer President of the House of Chiefs.
The North West House of Chiefs serves as the Upper House of the Assembly and take a second look on proposed deliberations.
His election comes at the time when palaces that were destroyed badly needs rehabilitation and the eroding North West culture needs to be fixed.
He will serve in the House with Fon Zofoa Abubaka Fuanfor Yung as Secretary
