Canada: YCPDM Youth Congratulate President Biya on Re-election, Reaffirm Unwavering Support for the Next Seven Years

Following the re-election of President Paul Biya as Head of State, executives of the Youth Movement of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (YCPDM) in Canada have unanimously extended their heartfelt congratulations, reaffirming their steadfast support for the new seven-year mandate and praising the Head of State’s tangible achievements.

The Cameroonian political sphere is energized, and the ruling party’s youth wing in Canada is openly celebrating the victory and expressing its determination to accompany President Biya in his mission. Several key YCPDM leaders spoke during the gathering.

Barrister Tanyi George, YCPDM Coordinator, underscored the significance of the electoral outcome and the renewed trust placed in President Biya. “The re-election of President Paul Biya is a powerful recognition of his enlightened leadership and the strong adherence of the Cameroonian people to his vision for our nation. We are ready to walk with him over the next seven years with unwavering determination,” he stated.

Dr. Alain, Secretary General of the YCPDM, emphasized the stability and continuity embodied by the Head of State. “President Biya is a symbol of stability and progress. His achievements in education, infrastructure, health, and other sectors are tangible and undeniable. The YCPDM stands firmly by his side to support the implementation of his program during this new mandate and to contribute to building a more prosperous Cameroon,” he affirmed.

The movement’s treasurer, Mr. Eyong Obi Martin, reiterated the commitment to meeting the challenges ahead. “President Biya’s efforts toward economic and social development are evident. Despite adversity, he has stayed the course. As treasurers, we commit to mobilizing our members and the resources needed to support his policies and ensure the country’s prosperity throughout this mandate,” he said, stressing discipline and dedication.

Mr. Ebot Job Ayuk, an active YCPDM member, highlighted the youth’s determination to follow the Head of State’s vision. “President Biya has always prioritized youth empowerment and implemented policies that foster our development. His leadership inspires us, and we are resolved to work tirelessly to achieve his goals and strengthen peace and unity,” he noted.

Mr. Jeff Fongo, adviser to the YCPDM President, lauded President Biya’s experience and vision. “His expertise and long-term outlook remain pillars of Cameroon’s stability and international standing. This new mandate guarantees the continuation of proven policies and the completion of major structural projects,” he remarked.

Speaking from the diaspora, Mr. Emmanuel Ntoko, President of YCPDM Canada, reiterated the movement’s unity and shared enthusiasm. “Cameroonians in Canada, just like those at home, celebrate this resounding democratic victory. We reaffirm our loyalty and commitment to supporting President Biya as he builds a strong, united, and prosperous nation. We are ready for the next seven years of progress,” he declared.
