The Member of parliament for Ndu, Honourable Naomi Ngando Bongyor has told the people of her constituency that President Paul Biya holds their development dear to his heart. A vote for him next October 12, 2025 is a show of gratitude to consolidate the gains made this far while pleading for more.
Honourable Naomi made the call on Sunday October 5, 2025 via the Ndu community radio's special campaign slot.
Unable to make it to Ndu due to health challenges, she said her fervent plea is for the Ndu people to do a review of what members of the cpdm elite have succeeded in bringing to the community in just five years. To her, this will enable them make an informed choice on October 12. From the mayor of Ndu, to Senator Ngafeeson and Mafor Yah Sunday Epse Achidi, the achievements are plenty.
From discussions among youths and women, this reporter gathered that Honourable Naomi is a veritable force to reckon with when it comes to rallying women. From the first days of her mandate, she chose to organise Ndu women into formal groups with legal existence in a bid to ease them access to funding and support from development partners and specialized government structures.
Thanks to this structural adjustment, she has been able to secure huge support to the women in form of farm tools and inputs so they can gradually be shifting from peasant to industrial farming.
As a true mother and representative for all in Ndu, Honourable Naomi doesn't sleep when she hears a member of her community is in difficulty. Many members of the community attested to this. Among them are women whose hospital bills she has paid while also assisting victims of separatist attacks.
In education and health she is said to have done alot as well. From Ntumbaw to Taku through Ndu, she has been very supportive of parents whose kids couldn't afford didactic material. She equally, lobbied and obtained a huge consignment of hospital equipment for the Taku and Ntumbaw integrated health centres. Thanks to these efforts, Taku now has a resident medical doctor to alleviate the health worries of the people.
Weeping that she couldn't her doctor's instructions to force her way to Ndu, she pleaded with the population to look at the roads she was able to lobby and secure to ease them access to mainstream Ndu, classroom blocks built in schools and many others and tell her if without President Paul Biya all of that would have been possible.
To her, Ndu's time is now. And it is critical all community members understand that and vote wisely. A vote for the CPDM candidate is a vote for the CPDM elite of Ndu through whom President Biya is operating incredibly impactful development of Ndu, she added.
Providing cement and corrugated sheets for the construction of churches, mosques and palaces, Honourable Naomi has been very inclusive in her approach to development.
In both sad and happy moments she is always by her people. For these and more, many say Honourable Naomi is one of the vote hunters President Biya can count on in Ndu.
