Speaking during a campaign rally in Batibo, Mbah Acha called on militants to demonstrate loyalty through voter turnout, describing Biya as the guarantor of peace and stability in the country.

“we have come here in continuation of our campaign trail to sensitize our people, to encourage them that despite the ghost town, we are with them and encourage them to come out and vote and vote massively for our champion, President Paul Biya, who is the president of the Party of Development, a party that unifies. In French, it says "resemblements," which means that it brings together and it's trying to bring together. Paul Biya has been preaching peace"

The rally, which is part of the CPDM’s nationwide grassroots campaign, drew local officials, traditional leaders, and youth groups who pledged to secure a decisive victory for President Paul Biya.

The Mayor of Batibo council, Acha Kennedy, added his voice to that of Minister Mbah Acha calling on residents of Batibo to rally behind President Paul Biya in the upcoming October 12, 2025 presidential election, while citing tangible development achievements under his leadership.

Key highlights being,  infrastructure projects including the construction of major roads such as the Ngunje–Guzang and Batibo–Bessi road as well as several bridges across the municipality.

Water supply projects in Bessi, Ogum, and other localities, along with electrification and solar lighting initiatives, an evidence of Biya’s decentralization policy at work.

As he describes Paul Biya as “a symbol of peace and development,” citing visible achievements in the area, including the Bamenda–Batibo–Mamfe road, newly constructed hospitals, and schools built under the president’s leadership.
