Bamenda: CPDM Scribe Jean Nkuete Assesses Campaign, Urges Electorate to Support Paul Biya’s Vision for a Prosperous Cameroon

The National campaign coordinator of the CPDM's Presidential Candidate, Jean Nkuete has said the future mandate of the Head of State, Paul Biya is buried in Greatness and Hope.

Jean Nkuete was speaking in Bamenda Sunday 5th October 2025, as he carried out an evaluation of the campaigns in the North West Region, eight days on.

The CPDM scribe said Paul Biya's intention has always been to build a great Cameroon that stands out in the world for what it is and what it was. "We will build an attractive, prosperous Cameroon. A country our children will be proud of. That is why President Paul Biya is carrying out structural reforms at all levels and he is overseeing it closely." Jean Nkuete said.

To concretise this, several mining projects are ongoing in the country that will be transformed before eventual exportation. This will increase the GDP of Cameroonians and create several job opportunities.

To the potential voters, Jean Nkuete urged them to vote for President Paul Biya. "We have the best candidate, with the best program for the best interest of our people." A section of his speech read.

Minister Felix Mbayu

To the Secretary General just like the leader of the Mezam Divisional Campaign Team, Felix Mbayu, those coming out with funny slogans are adventurers.

"We are one of the bed rocks of the CPDM. The recent futile visits of some political adventurers who are ready to promise and say things that do not tie with their past, cannot be listened to. Who say they have links with those who have caused pain in this region. How do they want to lead Cameroon?. A leopard never changes its spots." Minister Felix Mbayu said.

He positioned the North West as one of the key regions that have found favour in the eyes of President Paul Biya. From making his first trip to the provinces in Bamenda in 1983, to launching the CPDM in 1985, the President of the Republic according to Minister Mbayu has positioned the North West to greatness and should be accompanied.

"He alone embodies wisdom, experience, vision and the sense of purpose that Cameroon needs at this decisive moment." Minister Felix Mbayu noted.

Philemon Yang handing the situation of campaigns in the region to Jean Nkuete

The visit of Jean Nkuete presented an opportunity for the North West Regional campaign team leader, Philemon Yang to expatiate on how the campaigns have been going on.

80%+ of the campaigns have been launched across the region with some expected to be done before the 8th October.

Philemon Yang said that they adopted the proximity campaigns and asked the various Divisional and Communal campaign teams to make ample use of the media especially the new media.

Campaigns were launched in the North West on September 27th and communal campaigns started on Sunday the 28th September 2025.

While the former Prime Minister was confident that with the strategy put in place, they will win gallantly, the scribe of the UPC, Bapoh Lipot joined his voice to that of other party members for a 100% victory of President Paul Biya.
