Many a people have pointed fingers at the government to take the first step. Our role also reflects Canada's engagement to work with our African partners to build a better future for everyone.

It is on this basis that talks are very important to find put an end to the six-year long crisis.

The armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions have brought untold damages to the lives and properties of the denizens, with frequent road blocks, gunshots, ghost towns and lockdowns.

In Bamenda, the guns were silent for some time but just this week, at least three persons have lost their lives. Two of them Elections Cameroon local officials and one business man.

The release from Honourable Joly concludes that it is the hope of all that factions of Ambazonia could join the cue. This to breathe confidence, hope and trust.

It will be incumbent for every party to bury pride and ensure that the once loving and liveable North West and South West Regions enjoy peace again.
