Traders of the Bamenda Main market Challenged to sacrifice for the fight Against the corona virus.



The market master of the Bamenda main market has beckon on traders of the market to respect the measures put in place by the government to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the market while putting their own personal measures.

 Nji Sylvester made the plea Tuesday 31st March 2020 to the occupants of the market to endeavour all clients wash their hands before getting hold of any item in their shops.

"We are calling on the traders of the Bamenda Main market to sacrifice for there is no charity home that has come to assist the market in the fight so far" he said


The traders were further called upon to close their shops early as part of the sacrifices to curb the spread of the virus.

Their first sacrifice was to close their shops, assemble infornt of the market for the sensitisation meeting

The Main market has been putting in lots of measures to avoid the spread of the virus into the market. Buckets with running water and soap have been placed at every entrance to the Market, toilets disinfected.
