MND: Caravan For Peace Begins Work Today in the North West

Caravan for Peace with Administrative Authorities



The Divisional caravans to preach peace and love and explain the recommendations of the Major National Dialogue to the people of the seven Divisions of the North West Region will commence this Tuesday, November 19th 2019.

The Regional caravan led by His Eminence Christian Cardinal Tumi, have as main mission to preserve peace at all cost. The Religious cleric has called on members of the Divisional caravans to use a more appealing language to the people and be ready to pardon 

Speaking on their readiness to receive the Divisional caravans, Monday November 18th, The Senior Divisional officers of the seven Divisions of the North West, pledge their total availability to the respective members of the caravans. Noting that the necessary ground works have been done to ensure that they meet the people within their areas of command

Delegates of the various caravans expressed their worries at the timeline chosen for this caravan as it coincides with the period to compile documents for the Municipal and Legislative Elections. They also hinted that sufficient ground work has not be done to facilitate their mission. Other delegates also pointed out that they have been receiving threats since their names were published

North West Governor, Adolf Lele L'Afrique


North West Governor, Adolf Lele L'Afrique, assured the Delegates that necessary security dispositions have been taken and the delegates should be rest assured of their security. Heads of the Divisional teams can also co-opt Delegates to fill the void created by the absence of one or two other Delegate(s). The Chief Executive of the Region welcomed back home, Elites who have not been to their Divisions since the upsurge of the socio-political crisis in the North West and South West Regions

Christian Cardinal Tumi instructed delegates to avoid any politicking and just explain to what extend the resolutions of the Major National Dialogue will meet their aspirations for a better Cameroon

The first evaluation meeting, Monday November 18th, comes exactly two days after the launch of Regional activities of the caravan for peace

The mission has a week long stay in the North West
