Tantoh Edison Fru Ndi, Chief Executive Officer of Dreamland Connect PLC, has reaffirmed his commitment to business, saying his ambition is not to enter politics but to continue building enterprises.

“I am not a politician, I don’t have political ambitions,” he declared during the launch of the 15th edition of BLISS Magazine in Bamenda on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Edison Fru Ndi, who is also the North West Regional Delegate of the Chamber of Commerce, was the cover personality of the magazine’s first printed edition, a 120-page collector’s publication dedicated to his life and professional journey.

Explaining his choice of career, he said, “Roads have lanes; I have chosen my own, which is business.” He also observed that business and politics are closely connected, describing the two as “bedfellows.”

The publication traces Edison Fru Ndi’s journey from a childhood marked by frequent movement between towns and schools to his development as an entrepreneur and business leader.

Raised for part of his childhood by his grandfather, a Baptist pastor, he grew up learning to adapt to new environments. His education took him through several towns, including Bamunka, Bangolan, Limbe, Belo, Bamenda and Douala, before he completed his secondary education at Government High School Limbe.

A scholarship to the University of Regina in Canada later exposed him to new ideas, technology and business opportunities. The experience helped shape his interest in entrepreneurship.

According to the magazine, he later became the first MTN distributor in the region before making a major career decision: leaving his government teaching job to concentrate fully on business.

His journey, as presented in the publication, reflects the importance of discipline, patience and reinvestment. Rather than spending early profits on luxury, he reportedly channelled resources back into his businesses to support growth.

The publication also highlights three principles that guide his professional life: integrity, excellence and discipline. These values, it says, influence his business decisions, relationships and approach to leadership.

Through the profile, BLISS Magazine seeks to show the experiences and decisions behind Fru Ndi’s professional achievements, offering lessons to young entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders.

His story forms the centrepiece of the magazine’s first print edition, which aims to preserve the journeys of people whose work can inspire future generations.
