BLISS Magazine has launched its 15th edition, shifting from digital publishing to print. An event to mark this major milestone in the life of the Magazine, took place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the auditorium of the North West Regional Assembly in Bamenda.
The launch was chaired by Mbingnoeh Abraham, Inspector Number One at the North West Governor’s Office, who encouraged the editorial team to continue producing quality journalism.
The 15th edition is a 120-page collector’s publication and the magazine’s first printed edition. It features Tantoh Edison Fru Ndi, Chief Executive Officer of Dreamland Connect PLC and North West Regional Delegate of the Chamber of Commerce, as its cover personality.
Speaking at the event, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Victory Marshal Ayafor said the magazine was created to tell important stories, celebrate achievements and preserve the experiences of people whose work has made a difference in society.
According to her, the publication began with digital editions and has continued to grow through 14 previous editions. The move to print, she explained, will allow readers to keep these stories, share them with their families and pass them on to future generations.
Victory Ayafor stressed that people should be recognised while they are still alive, rather than waiting until after their death to celebrate their achievements. She said BLISS Magazine aims to document not only success but also the struggles, decisions, sacrifices and lessons behind it.
The publisher also presented the magazine as a platform for individuals, families, businesses and institutions interested in preserving their histories through personal profiles, business stories and commemorative publications.
The ceremony was attended by guests, including Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique, the event’s Guest of Honour, and Professor Fru Fobuzshie Angwafo III, the Patron of the occasion who sent representatives.
Victory Marshal Ayafor expressed gratitude to the magazine’s team, contributors, partners and supporters for helping bring the first print edition to life.
She said the achievement was not the end of the journey but the beginning of a new chapter for the publication.
With the launch of its first printed edition, BLISS Magazine hopes to expand its reach and build a lasting platform for storytelling and the preservation of legacies.
