Dr. Clement Che Bonuh, a Municipal Councillor of the Ndop Council, is one of the leading figures working for the growth and transformation of Ndop and the Nsei community. Through his work in education, politics, and community development, he has dedicated himself to improving the lives of his people and changing the image of his home division.
A respected Cameroonian anthropologist, Dr. Bonuh recently received an honorary award in Development Anthropology and Community Transformation. This recognition highlights his outstanding efforts to promote development, social progress, and community empowerment. As President of the Ngoketunjia Youths and Students Cultural Association (NGOYSCA), he has inspired young people to become active builders of peace, unity, and development rather than allowing the challenges of the past to define their future.
Academically, Dr. Bonuh holds a Ph.D. in Developmental and Political Anthropology. He is a lecturer at the University of Yaoundé I and serves as Assistant Head of Service for Programs and Diplomas in the Department of Academic Affairs. His work combines academic knowledge with practical solutions to community problems.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Bonuh actively supports development initiatives in the North West and South West Regions. He has been a strong advocate for the respect of state programs especially the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West Regions (PPRD-NW/SW). Through this program, projects such as the renovation of markets, homes and livelihoods are helping to restore hope among local populations. He has consistently highlighted the positive impact these projects are having on communities and young people.
Dr. Bonuh is also passionate about education and employment. In his role at the university, he works to ensure that academic programs and training opportunities prepare students for the modern job market. By encouraging young people and graduates to take advantage of available opportunities, he contributes to reducing unemployment and promoting economic growth within the community.
Through his leadership, dedication, and service, Dr. Clement Che Bonuh continues to inspire confidence and optimism in Ndop. His efforts are helping to build a stronger foundation for sustainable development, ensuring that future generations can benefit from the progress being made today.
