Edison Fru Ndi, CEO of Dreamland Holdings has been recognized as the Most Resilient Economic Operator and Developer in the North West Region.
He was recognized by Life Time Newspaper during the 17th Edition of the Life Time achievement award for Nation builders in the Gold category on Saturday 28th March 2026.
Contacted by The Observer to express a word, Edison Fru Ndi said; "Being recognized as a resilient Economic Operator and Developer is not just a personal achievement. It is a testament to the spirit of perseverance that defines our region and our people." Edison Fru Ndi said.
Dreamland Holdings has been instrumental in the catering, hospitality and construction sectors without shutting its doors for a single day, despite the prevailing anglophone crisis.
The award reflects the journey and acknowledges the many obstacles faced along the way.
"This award reflects the countless challenges we have faced, the storms we have weathered, and the unwavering belief that even in adversity, progress is possible."
Even in this moment of celebration, the focus was not on one person alone. Instead, the recognition was dedicated to the many individuals who continue to drive the region’s economy forward
“I dedicate this recognition to every entrepreneur, every worker, and every young dreamer in the North West Region who refuses to give up despite the odds. You are the true builders of our economy.”
Behind every success story is a team, and this was not forgotten. Appreciation was extended to partners, collaborators, and institutions whose support made the journey possible.
“To my team, partners, and the institutions that have trusted and supported our vision, this honour belongs to you as much as it does to me.”
Together, they have shown that even in difficult times, meaningful progress can be achieved from creating jobs to building infrastructure and restoring hope in communities.
Yet, the message did not end with celebration. Instead, it turned toward the future.
“This award is not a destination, it is a call to do more. To build more. To empower more.”
There is a growing belief that the North West Region can move beyond survival and step into a new phase of growth and transformation.
The vision is clear:
“To transform resilience into renaissance, where our region does not just survive, but thrives, leads, and inspires.”
One message stood out above all, the journey is far from over
“Thank you for this recognition. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come.”
In a region that has endured so much, this story is a reminder that hope is still alive and that with determination, the future can be even brighter.
