In the wake of the tragic collapse of a makeshift bridge in Nkwen, which led to the loss of lives, messages of sympathy and support have continued to pour in from across the country

Among them is a heartfelt message from Chief Albert Njie Mbonde to Fon Azehfor III of Nkwen, expressing deep sorrow and solidarity with the people of Nkwen.

Describing the news as shocking, Chief Albert Njie Mbonde conveyed his condolences on behalf of the people of Membea Bokwaongo Village.

 “My dear brother and friend, it is with immense shock that we learnt of the collapse of a makeshift bridge in your Fondom which led to the loss of lives.”

He went on to express the pain and sadness shared by his community, emphasizing that they stand with Nkwen during this difficult moment.

“On behalf of the Membea Bokwaongo people, I express our heartfelt condolences. We are deeply saddened and share in your grief.”

In a message filled with empathy and reflection, he acknowledged the deep emotional toll such a tragedy brings, especially in close-knit communities.
