Councillors of Bafut council have promised a 100 percent victory for the CPDM during the November 30 Regional Elections.
The councilors led by their Mayor and Communal campaign lead for Bafut, Ngwakongoh Lawrence said the councillors are ready and spirit filled to fulfill their civic responsibility.
The Mayor was speaking as the CPDM Mezam campaign Team under the auspices of Minister Felix Mbayu came to take the temperature of the campaigns.
Bafut is presenting two candidates at the Regional elections, incumbent Gordon Chebelem and newcomer, Shundale Marceline Ayu-nbi.
The Minister praised the achievements of the incumbent Member of the North West Regional Assembly, terming it as satisfactory while calling on the municipal councillors to throw their weight behind him for the advancement of the Municipality.
Minister Mbayu said the Assembly was in its inception phase and the accomplishments which were shared to councillors was worth it. He reminded the councillors that the CPDM list which stands for victory should carry the day at 100 percent.
While thanking the party hierarchy for the confidence once more bestowed on him, Chebelem Gordon Anyelle promised to collaborate with the councillors and the council, village associations to drag more meaningful projects to Bafut subdivision.
On the occasion to officially close the campaigns in Bafut, he was awarded by The Gazette Newspaper as an Astute Politician whose work speaks for itself.
Bafut like the rest of the six subdivisions of Mezam will be voting some 18 Regional Assembly members on Sunday 30th November 2025.
