Bello Bouba Maigari at Welcome to Bamenda
Bello Bouba Maigari, President of the National Union for Democracy and Progress (NUDP), visited Bamenda on September 5, 2025, as part of his ongoing campaign tour for the October 12, 2025, Presidential election. The NUDP leader was warmly received by a large crowd of supporters and sympathizers at the Jua Hotel Hall.
Bello Bouba Maigari was accompanied to the campaign site by a huge population from across the North West region as he arrived Welcome to Bamenda, showcasing the enthusiasm and support for his candidacy.
Before the President of the NUDP party could make known his manisfto to the anxious population, the North West Regional campaigned team was officially presented to the party's President. The team will be charged with the responsibility to pull the support of the population from the respective seven Divisions of the North West to vote for the NUDP party on the election day

In his Manifesto, Bello Bouba pledged to prioritize national reconciliation and cohesion, reform the electoral code, and promote transparency in governance. He also aims to boost economic growth, develop infrastructure, and support youth development.
The NUDP leader emphasized the need for dialogue with Ambazonia fighters to bring peace to the region. He believes that resolving the crisis requires negotiation and inclusive dialogue.
