The Member of Parliament for Ako and Misaje constituency, Hon Abe Michael has been killed.
Reports coming from Donga Mantung say he was killed after being kidnapped by pro separatist fighters a week ago.
He was kidnapped while traveling back to Bamenda after the October 12 Presidential Elections.
Demands amounting to some 15 million Francs was asked as a ransom with pictures of separatist fighters with his official sage and car making rounds on social media.
The Hon Abe was known for his commitment to local development in his constituency.
